Pegah Kazemi (b. 1985, Tehran, Iran) is a multidisciplinary artist whose career bridges both visual and performing arts. A graduate in Dramatic Arts with a concentration in Stage Design, she began her acting journey in 2006, appearing in experimental and alternative productions. Since then, she has remained deeply engaged in experimental theater, often exploring innovative forms of performance.Since 2010, Kazemi has been a central collaborator with Avant Art Factory (formerly The Bread Theater Group), under the direction of Iranian avant-garde theater artist Nasir Malekijoo. Through this long-standing collaboration, she has contributed to numerous productions as a performer, embracing the challenges of boundary-pushing and unconventional theater. In addition to her stage work, Kazemi has appeared in more than four short film projects produced in the United States, expanding her artistic reach into the medium of cinema and continuing her exploration of character, narrative, and visual storytelling.
