Pegah Kazemi (b. 1985, Tehran, Iran) is an illustrator whose practice is enriched by a strong background in painting and theater. She holds a dual Master of Fine Arts degree from Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences (Bonn, Germany) and Bowling Green State University (United States), completed in 2023. Trained in Dramatic Arts and active in experimental theater since 2006, Kazemi translates staging, narrative rhythm, and character development from performance into evocative visual storytelling. Her illustration work—primarily for children’s books, calendars, and poster projects—combines technical precision with imaginative expression.
